In high school, I read "My Sister's Keeper". I could not put the book down. I like that the book was not just fluff, but made me think. Although the Picoult's topics are typically heavy, her writing style is not. The books are easy to understand, and they keep you on the edge of your seat. I have read three of her books in the past two months: "Keeping Faith", "Nineteen Minutes", and "House Rules". I would give "Keeping Faith" and "Nineteen Minutes" four and a half stars, and "House Rules" five.
